Today was Mark Jewell MD’s last operation before retirement!

I have had the honor of working with him over the last few years.

Mark Jewell has been a pioneer and legend in the field of cosmetic surgery. Together, Mark and Mary Jewell, dedicated 44 years to delivering exceptional plastic and reconstructive surgery care in Eugene, Oregon.

Mark Jewell is a world renowned plastic surgeon, with significant contributions to the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery with over 100 peer-reviewed papers, tens of books and book chapters, serving as the president of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (2005-2006), and innovating and developing surgical technologies.

Mary Jewell RPT, the backbone of the Jewell Plastic surgery, worked as the practice manager, among many other substantial roles and responsibilities. Mary has been giving talks and lectures on the topic of leadership and practice management for years at international meetings.

Together, they conducted over 30 FDA studies, which had a significant impact on where we are in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

On the personal level, Mark and Mary are some of the most compassionate, intelligent, loving, caring and inspirational people I have ever met. In a world where authenticity is scarce, meeting these authentic individuals in Eugene, Oregon, has been a stroke of luck!

For over four decades, the Jewells prioritized patient safety and quality care.

I will be officially taking over the surgical side of Jewell plastic surgery starting 01/01/2024. It is an honor to continue their legacy.
